Our Story
The Cattleman’s story began in 2005 with two Kentucky natives & their love of steak, preparing delicious meals, & bringing folks together around the dinner table. These passions led them to opening the first Cattleman’s location in Shelbyville, KY.
Nearly 20 years later, that joy in delivering great food is not only still alive, but expanding, now proudly serving 11 towns in both Kentucky & Southern Indiana. Locally owned & operated, we take pride in supporting our community’s suppliers by sourcing regionally. Our commitment is to deliver the finest cuts of premium beef, all while maintaining our roots & values. Cattleman’s steaks are carefully selected Black Angus beef that’s hand-cut, aged for a minimum of 28 days, & unmatched in flavor. We also must tip our hats to our famous Salad Bar that offers a variety of vegetables, fruits, prepared salads, & house-made dressings.

Our steaks are carefully sourced from Black Angus Beef, subjected to a meticulous process of hand-cutting and a minimum 28-day aging period to ensure superior quality. Crafted from certified All Natural Beef, humanely raised, and guaranteed free from antibiotics, our burgers deliver exceptional quality and taste. Cattlemans proudly sources its beef from Demkota Ranch Beef, an organization dedicated to delivering high-quality products through rotational grazing from local farms.
